The Managing Director of PKSF, Dr Nomita Halder Ndc step foot on RRF on 3rd April 2023. The RRF people received her with heartfelt greetings. She had a day-long trip to visit Various programs at RRF. Zahir Uddin Ahmed, Project Coordinator of SEP accompanied her on this tour.
At first, Dr Halder visited a number of flower gardens where the farmers are cultivating high-value flowers like Lilium, Gerbera, and Dutch Rose at Ganna Bazar, Kaligonj. She also spoke at a view exchange meeting organized in participation with the flower farmers and businessmen of the cluster at the Ganna flower market.
Then, she visited the RRF Tissue culture lab at RRF TARC & Plant a tree in front of the lab. Here she got to know about the whole process of the Gerbera tissue culture system.
Bangabandhu Higher Education Scholarship ceremony was held at RRF head office where Dr Nomita Halder Ndc handover the scholarship money to the financially imbalanced & brilliant student. She also had a discussion & sharing meeting with RRF officials.
At the end of the program, Dr Halder provided luxurious car keys to the RRF officials.
She said, “It is a great journey at RRF. I’m pleased that the way they receive me & support me the whole day. I wish RRF will work more & increase their productivity in future.” It was a remarkable day for RRF indeed.
