The Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) had the honor of welcoming A.Q.M. Golam Mawla, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), for a two-day official visit on 22–23 October 2025.


Field Visit and Project Observation
On 22 October 2025, DMD Sir visited several innovative RRF initiatives in Jashore implemented under the Microfinance, RAISE, and SMART projects. He was accompanied by Mr. Antony Biswas, Additional Executive Director of RRF; Mr. Arun Kumar Biswas, Director–Microfinance; the Deputy Director–Microfinance; and the Assistant Director of Jashore Region.
During his field visits to RRF’s branch offices, DMD Sir observed a variety of innovative and income-generating enterprises. He visited the Agriculture Machinery Production Unit, Motorbike Parts Production Enterprise, as well as Nursery and Flower Cultivation Projects under the SMART project. These initiatives reflect RRF’s commitment to enhancing rural livelihoods, fostering entrepreneurship, and creating employment opportunities for local communities.


He expressed satisfaction with the progress of RRF’s projects and encouraged further innovation and replication of successful initiatives across other operational areas.
Meeting and Exchange of Insights

On 23 October 2025, DMD Sir attended a discussion meeting with department heads, Assistant Directors, and Regional Managers of RRF. The session provided a constructive platform for exchanging views on program implementation, operational challenges, and future directions for partnership enhancement between PKSF and RRF.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Philip Biswas, Executive Director, RRF; Mr. Antony Biswas, Additional Executive Director, RRF; and other senior officials from both organizations. They shared valuable insights on scaling up successful interventions, improving program efficiency, and deepening collaboration for sustainable community development.

The visit of PKSF’s Deputy Managing Director to RRF served as an important milestone in reinforcing the partnership between the two organizations. His field observations and constructive feedback will play a vital role in shaping RRF’s ongoing and future interventions aimed at rural empowerment, microenterprise development, and poverty alleviation. RRF expressed deep appreciation to DMD Sir and PKSF for their continued guidance, support, and trust in the organization’s development journey.
