Mir Rowshan Ali Mona
(Chairman)
He was a librarian at Meherpur Public Library and worked on a volunteer basis for more than 30 years, now he is a businessman of sign painting as a good artist. He is currently 66 years of age. He graduated from Kushtia Government College in the science group under Rajshahi University and later from Dhaka Central Public Library and had a degree in Library Science. He is also currently involved in various social and cultural organizations, he is a lifetime member of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Meherpur Public Library, and Meherpur District Shilpa Kala Academy, as well as an active member of Meherpur Theater Group. He is the president of the Center for Development of Peace (CDP), a local NGO in Meherpur district.
Dr. Sahanaj Parvin
(Member)
She is currently serving as the Principal of the Talbaria Degree College in Jashore. She completed her Masters in Islamic Studies from Dhaka University and later obtained MPhil and Ph.D. from the Islamic University. She is also an author, poet, and researcher. At present, she is associated with several social and cultural organizations including Bangladesh Mahila Parishad, Shilpakala Academy, Jashore Institute Public Library, and many others. She has been awarded various important medals for her poetry and various researches.
Monzu-Ara Begum

She was a councilor of ward no. 4 of Jashore Municipality from 1996-2000. One of the remarkable achievements of her career was that she was the General Secretary of the Jashore District Women’s Sports Association. She also served as the first female deputy governor of Apex Bangladesh. She holds a graduate degree, as well as a BEd degree.
Jesmin Biplobi Das
(Member)
She is a retired Headmaster of Barnamala Bidyapith Jashore School. She obtained Bachelor’s degree along with a Bachelor of Education degree.
Rashia Biswas
(Member)
She is a graduate. In her career, she is a former NGO worker, she was engaged in various activities in NGOs for more than 20 years. Currently, she works in humanitarian activities by being associated with various social institutions.
Abu Sayeed Md. Abdul Haque
(Member)
He successfully completed his Master’s Degree in Geography and is a Government Primary School Head Teacher by profession. He is also involved with two non-government voluntary organizations. He is serving as the Finance Secretary of the Government Teachers Association right now. He trains as a master trainer in government level teacher training and is a social activist and civil society member in Jashore district.
Kolpona Sarkar
(Member)
She has been teaching in Jashore Secret Heart Secondary School since 1993. She holds Master’s degree in Bengali and Political Science along with B-ED and M-ED degrees. He is also currently serving as the Secretary of Christian Co-operative Credit Union.
General Body Members
Rural Reconstruction Foundation is governed by a two-layer of bodies’ governance system, which is the Executive Committee and General Body. The basic governance lies with the Executive Committee of the organization. The General Body is formed including eminent persons of the society, social workers, educators, members of civil society, and retired govt. officials. Without having any financial benefit, the board members volunteer for the organization moving forward. In fact, these are virtually honorary positions.
The General Body is the organization’s highest authority which is basically responsible for the overall policy guidance and direction for the efficient functioning of the organization. The total number of members of the General Body is 21 including seven members of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is elected by the General Body members for the 3-year tenure, which is subject to the control and supervision of the General Body, and holds the responsibility to pursue and carry out the goals of the organization’s goals. It determines the direction and scope of the activities. The basic governance lies with Executive Committee. It comprises seven members including the Founder & Executive Director who is basically having the secretary position according to the regulations of the Constitution.
