Every year 8th of March was celebrated worldwide as “international women’s Day”. This is an event to reduce gender discrimination. On March 8th, the Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing a rally to raise awareness about women’s rights. The event was held at the Barnamala Bidyapith and it was attended by teachers and students.
The rally began with a march in front of the school area, with participants holding banners calling for gender equality and the empowerment of women. After the rally, there was an essay writing competition arranged in the school. There was also a prize-giving ceremony to encourage the girls to participate in such events. The girls made a wallpaper about the Women’s Day celebration.
Moreover, the event was a successful and inspiring celebration of International Women’s Day. It helped to raise awareness about women’s rights and the need for greater gender equality, and it encouraged people to take action to support these important causes.
