46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) Held at RRF HO

The 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of RRF was successfully held on December 14, 2024. The purpose of the AGM is to review the organization’s activities, achievements, and financial performance over the past year. It also serves as a platform to discuss future goals, make key strategic decisions, and ensure transparency and accountability in governance. The meeting saw active participation from General Body members, including the Executive Committee. Distinguished attendees included Mr. Philip Biswas, Executive Director; Mrs. Pinku Rita Biswas, Deputy Executive Director; Mr. Antony Biswas, Assistant Executive Director of RRF; and Mr. Asit Kumar Saha, Deputy Director, Department of Social Services, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Presentation of Annual Report

A visual presentation was presented by Md. Mokbul Ahmed (DD, Com & Doc, RRF) on the behalf of RRF executive director where the annual report was presented at a glance. The whole activities of the financial year 2022-23 were mentioned in the presentation.

Presentation of Financial Report

Then Mr. Sanjoy Shaha (Director, Finance & Accounts, RRF) presented the yearly financial report to the management team. Many important issues for the organization were discussed there. The members from executive committee approved & support the important decisions which were taken in the meeting.

Election of New Executive Committee and Chairman

On December 14, 2024, the RRF Executive Committee election was held during the organization’s 46th Annual General Meeting. This election, conducted after every three years, saw the participation of 21 General Body members, from whom seven were elected to form the Executive Committee. A key highlight of the event was the election of RRF’s new Chairman, Ms. Kolpona Sarkar, who will lead the organization in its mission of sustainable development and social progress. The new Executive Committee is elected for next years from 31^st December 2024 to 30^th December 2027. The AGM marked a milestone for RRF, celebrating its legacy while ushering in a new leadership era to drive impactful initiatives.
